In Loveland we have an area called River’s Edge Natural Area. We enjoy walking with Riley here several times a week.
A group called Colorado Native Plant Society planted a rock garden along one of the paths. This morning this plant caught my eye. It is called Purple Prairie Clover.
There are walking paths that connect five ponds, which have been given fancy names such as: Dragonfly, Sandpiper, Bass and Jayhawker.
