It has been a long time since this Rosey bird graced our yard. First sighting this morning!

feeling no pain,
waiting for a handsome male
to come into range.
I sure hope she has more oranges in storage.
Female Western Tanager. The first sighting, of the season, was on May 10, 2020. Photos were taken today.

Bird Watching at home today for the Global Big Day Bird Count. I captured a House Wren building a nest. There were three around, two males and one female. We attached a birdhouse on the ham radio antenna.
