Thank you so very much. I have a few more Elk photos, from last year, to post. So sad I won’t be able to drive up to Rocky this year, because of the road damage.
Yes, we have been watching the news and feeling so bad about all the flooding. We have been twice and love going to the area and up in the park. It will take a bit of doing to get roads all back to functioning it looks like. I have elk pictures from a few years back. We were in awe of all the “tame” elk.
Hi Gay, it is fun watching the Elk during rut, and how they interact with each other – the bull elk, the bull elk challengers, and the females. In reviewing my photos from last year, I noticed a very young calf that seemed to be next to or very near the Big Guy! Thanks for your sweet words, glad you enjoy my photos!
How absolutely wonderful! I cannot wait to see what you captured and all about you adventure.

What wonderful photos of the elk. Loved the family pose!

You have a terrific eye for wildlife photography. These are beautiful. 🙂
Thank you Cubby. It is a lot of fun watching and photographing wildlife! I appreciate being in an area where it is easily observed.
In Yellowstone, watching some of the babes nursing was almost painful at times to watch. They could be so aggressive, I felt for their mothers.
