~Florida Scrub Jay

A visit to Jonathan Dickinson State Park wouldn’t be the same without seeing and photographing the Florida Scrub Jay.

I adore Scrub Jays and this species, threatened and found only in Florida, is simply beautiful.

  1. Such a cute bird, looks a lot like the scrub Jay that visits us here in Southern California. I have one that does a little dipping dance on the back fence when he visits. Great pics, too! 🙂
