He has been hanging around the suet feeder today, notice his bill. I finally got a decent photo; however, taken through the glass. I open the door and he is gone in a flash. What a beauty!

He’s Beautiful, Great image of him as well 🙂
Gosh, its been awhile since we have chatted; thanks for your kind comment!
Love his colors. So bright and cheerful. Wonderful picture!
Janell, beautiful colors! Can be used in an artists painting!!! 😉
congratulations on getting a lovely photo of him!
Thank you so much!
Yes, he is a beauty!
Beth, just like the gorgeous Painting Bunting!I have only seen it once, a couple of years ago in South Llano State Park. Hope you are having a wonderful spring!!
Wow … he is a beauty. It’s the first time I’ve seen one, thanks for the photo. He sounds like my local Cardinal where he must hear me open the door quietly when I try to take his photo.
Hi Steve!! Great to hear from you. How are those hounds?!?! Yes, this guy is very skittish. Some birds aren’t like my Scrub Jays, which I can walk right up to. I don’t get to see the Northern Cardinal here in Colorado, only when we travel south. Wishing you continued success with those basset hound skin problems.
The hounds are doing well but I see they enjoy the sunny days much more than the days it rains.
What a beautiful bird. Great shot, thanks for sharing
Hi! Thank you! It makes me happy to share such beautiful birds!! Appreciate you stopping by.
Once again, beauty reigns! Glad you are home safe and sound.
Anne Marie! I hope you are having a great spring! It is just now seemingly turning into a nice spring here. Love and hugs to you!
Beautiful bird!! I’m glad you were persistent in trying to get the photo.
Thanks for sharing
Hi Annie! Thanks, and it is my pleasure to share nature’s beauty! Yes, persistence sometimes pays off!!! 🙂
