~Today, I rode my bike while Howard ran on the path that runs along the Big Thompson River. It was fun to be out enjoying our lovely northern Colorado weather.

I haven’t had much to write about since returning home from our winter travels. It has been nice settling back into our “at-home” routine.
A bit of exciting news… beginning on June 20th, we finally have a landscaping company (Mother’s Natures Son) coming to begin work on our yard.
We have been trying, for over two years, to get someone to come out and bid on refurbishing our landscaping. It seems with the booming economy in northern Colorado the landscape companies have been devoting their time to new construction projects.
Hopefully, some new river rock, moss rock walls, stone steps, small flag-stone patio area, flower beds and general clean-up, will add a little “curb appeal” to our “tired looking” yard. When the work begins I will share some photos.

Your weather sounds heavenly with all the heat and humidity we are experiencing here on the east coast.
Finding a landscaper is what we just went through in our new home area of Boulder City, NV. It seems there is more work than landscapers. Luckily, we found someone we really liked just before we left for the summer. Next fall we will be adding some new life to our front yard. Can’t wait to see the photos of your landscaping.

It has been an experience dealing with the landscapers here. You are right lots more work than landscapers. Enjoy your time back east and please give Lewis a big hug!! LOL
I will make sure Lewis gets lots of hugs:) Can’t wait to see the big guy. It has been quite awhile.
Luckily, we don’t have much landscaping that needs to be done and it is only in the front which has a small yard. Mainly new stone and remove and replace a few old bushes. Living in the desert makes life easy. Thank goodness the backyard around the pool was done and we really love it. Good luck with your work!
