This Great Blue Heron nest is on private property. We were allowed to walk into their field a short distance. I was too far away from the tree for quality photos, but they tell a story! It is nice this tree is secluded.

Hi Beth! Wonderful to hear from you as well! Years ago my birding mentor and I would go out to “the heron tree”, which was a different tree back the, there would be so many herons. Much more that the 10 or so in this tree. But, seeing these Great Blues was so much fun!!!
