In pink and lime, she dresses,
displaying her allure, boldly,
a tenebrous, little lady,
inviting admiration,
seductively, she poses.

Almost obscured by other flowers and foliage, this little jewel invited me to taken her picture. I took this photo last week on September 5, 2013, during my jaunt up the Big Thompson Canyon. I hope you enjoy her beauty as much as I do.
Beautiful photo. I never seem to get enough of wildflowers, especially here in Colorado….love those mountain meadows.
Hi Ingrid, thank you for your nice comment! Glad you stopped by; where in Colorado are you? Wildflowers and flowers in general are some of my favorite things to photograph.
It is nice and cool here today, with rains since last night helping water dry trees, plants and flowers!
We did live in Co Springs and Pueblo West but are now Full-time RVing. Kids went to college at CU and CSU so I spent a lot of time in northern CO….love your area. We’ve been meandering around the western slope since July but will migrate south come October.
Lovely photo, lovely prose. 🙂
Hi LuAnn, always wonderful to hear from you!
