Sheila, we are thinking of spending a few days on Lake Seminole in January. We have state at Seminole State Park before but I see you stayed at Eastbank. How are the sites there? Do you like it? We love COE parks!
Hi Beth, we so enjoy this COE park, have been visiting here several times. It is a wonderful place for us to stop heading east into south FL and returning west on our way home. We have stayed here in November and March. Once in September.
The sites are great. There are three loops, A,B and C. We prefer A and B. B is up top, A is near the lake. C is gorgeous with lots of nice sites on the lake, but more people like to stay there. We tend to enjoy more quite. You can’t go wrong no matter what loop you pick. If you come in January and the winds blows you might want to be in B.
There are lots of birds here and hundreds of ducks on the lake. We saw a Bald Eagle on Friday! They enjoy the Coots on the lake and like to fish on the dam, near the campground. You can walk to the dam from your site.
Hope you both had a great Thanksgiving. Did you cook a turkey in your RV? It was so cold here in Loveland, The kids and family were here and enjoyed them. Enjoy the warm weather.
Hi Arlene! Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family! We have so much to be thankful for in our lives!
Linda sent me a photo of y’all playing at Osborne on Tuesday and you were in the photo! Cool! Lisa sent a photo of her backyard, the snow was beautiful! We have been watching the weather at home and it was a little chilly! 😳
I am on the lookout for a new PB paddle! Hope to play at some point, I truly miss being out on the court, in the sunshine and visiting with everybody. Tell Moe hello!
The sunsets at Lake Seminole are always gorgeous! One of our favorite stops coming to and going from Florida. See ya soon!!!!
They sure are, we enjoyed two beautiful, gorgeous, spectacular sunsets. The third one was pretty! See you in a few hours!
